Remediation of contamination caused by illegal dumping of industrial wastes: An experience in Japan

Illegal dumping of waste may directly lead to serious pollution problems because leakage and entry chemicals into the environment are likely occur. This article describes environmental caused by extremely large-scale illegal at two bordering prefecture sites in rural Japan reviews history results implementation technical measures deal with problem one county site.
